Are you having trouble using Google Chrome? Every time you try browsing something via Chrome, it shuts down. Well, here we have the solution for the problem.
Most of the time these kinds of problems arise due to some sort of virus problems.
Hence, it would be a wise idea to scan your system.
- Scan your entire PC
You can run Malwarebytes and Spybot or other tools to scan your PC. If a virus is creating this issue, then, it will appear after the scan. And if it does, uninstall the program that is creating the problem. You can go to the control panel to complete the task and restart your computer. Finally, when the problem gets resolved, you can install the updated version of the uninstalled program.
- Check the Chrome properties
If the problem is not due to any virus, you need to check the Chrome Properties. To reach there, you need to right-click on the shortcut icon of the Chrome on your Windows screen. Inside that, you will find the option called “Properties”.
The properties option contains multiple tabs. You are required to click the “Shortcut” tab. Inside the shortcut, make sure that the “target” section ends with “chrome.exe”. If not, then, make the changes and click ok.
