On a Dell laptop, sometimes the network issues arise. In this situation, you can’t connect to the wireless network, however, the Ethernet cable connections work properly. The issue is pretty common, even with the brand-new Inspiron.

So, when your laptop refuses to recognize the wireless network, here is what you should do.

  1. Remove the device

First of all, you need to uninstall the Dell WLAN Management Software. This will remove the device from your laptop. Now, you can start fresh for a better internet connection.

  1. Reinstall the wireless card

Now, you need to reinstall the wireless card. However, this time, it would be better to use the Drivers only option. To do so, you need to stop the automatic installation that starts after you download the driver. Hence, you need to cancel the installation as soon as you unzip the file.

  1. Search for new hardware

After the downloading, you need to search for the new hardware. This will lead you to a Broadcom wireless card. Here you can click on the option called “Update Drivers”. Finally, the device driver will get installed alone and will start working.

With these simple steps, you should be able to get the proper wireless network. However, if there are any issues in the process, you can call us on our toll-free number as well. Our technicians will resolve the problem immediately.
